TYC INSIDER Trend Report: Go-To Denim Brands for Poshmark Shoppers & Resellers

Great denim starts with a smart search. In this TYC INSIDER Trend Report, we’re breaking down the brands featured in Poshmark’s “Go-To Denim Brands” Trends Guideline, plus how shoppers and resellers can use that edit without confusing a trend spotlight with a guaranteed sale.

Our reference is the supplied by Poshmark and this is a snapshot of a featured brand selection, not a ranked bestseller list or a promise of resale value. Trends and available inventory can change.

The denim brands on the radar

The Poshmark app features these 24 brands: 7 For All Mankind, Agolde, Citizens Of Humanity, Closed, DL1961, Eckhaus Latta, Favorite Daughter, Frame Denim, Goldsign, Haikure, KHAITE, L’AGENCE, MOTHER, Nili Lotan, PAIGE, pistola, rag & bone, Re/Done, SLVRLAKE, Still Here, The Row, Tibi, Toteme, and Veronica Beard.

Use this list as a starting point for discovering denim, not as a reason to buy every pair with a recognizable label. The right style, measurements, condition, and price matter just as much as the brand.

Which category and condition should you choose?

To follow the reference, select Women → Jeans and leave Condition → All. Then narrow your search by brand, size, preferred cut, wash, and budget.

“All” is the condition filter shown in the app, not a statement that every listing is in the same condition. Review each item’s photos and description individually, including any wear, alterations, stains, or damage. If you want a more specific condition, narrow the filter further where available.

For shoppers: buy the fit, not just the label

  • Check measurements. Ask for the waist, rise, inseam, and leg opening, and compare them with a pair you already love.
  • Read the fabric label. Check the composition rather than assuming every pair from a brand has the same stretch or feel.
  • Inspect the details. Look closely at hems, inner thighs, knees, pockets, and closures. Ask whether the jeans have been hemmed or otherwise altered.
  • Compare like with like. Match the style, size, wash, and condition when evaluating price, and consider shipping and any applicable charges in your budget.

For resellers: turn the trend edit into a sourcing checklist

A brand spotlight is a research lead, not a buy signal. Before sourcing, look for comparable sold listings where available. Compare the exact style or a close equivalent, size, wash, and condition, rather than relying on active asking prices alone.

  • Set your maximum buy price first. Account for selling fees, acquisition cost, cleaning or repairs, packaging, and your target profit before purchasing inventory.
  • Identify the pair accurately. Photograph the brand, size, fabric, and style labels. Do not guess a model name, composition, or authenticity claim.
  • Choose the matching category. Use Women → Jeans for items that belong there, then choose the most accurate available subcategory for the cut. Use the correct category for other denim items rather than copying this report’s filter.
  • Describe the actual condition. The report’s “All” filter is not a listing condition. Disclose wear, alterations, and flaws clearly, with close-up photos.
  • Make the listing searchable and useful. Include the verified brand, style or cut, size, wash, and measurements. A clear title might read: “[Brand] [Style/Cut] Jeans | [Size] | [Wash].”
  • Track your own results. Record purchase cost, selling price, net proceeds, and days to sell so future sourcing decisions reflect your closet’s performance.
